How To Live An Extraordinary Life Through Goal Setting
Filed under: Goal Setting; Tagged as: Goal Set, Goal Setter, Goal Setting, Kozan Huseyin, Set Goal, SuccessNo CommentsHow do we live an extraordinary life? One full of amazement, and one that you live with passion? It is an interesting topic, and with so many people wondering what the key to happiness is, it is worth considering. In this article, we will look at what I call Bliss++.
In my life, I have always sought to live an extraordinary life. As a life coach, I have seen many people ask what is the key to happiness. But happiness and money are totally different things. Though many people believe that more money will make life more happier. The truth is that emotions such as happiness begin with us.
So, what is an extraordinary life? Think about it for a moment. What is an extraordinary life? For me I have managed to create what I think is an extraordinary life, and I call that Bliss++. It includes my ideal health, wealth; success, professional life, and all other areas that I feel need to be included. Bliss++ is my view of what car I want, what dream home I want, and how I want my relationships to be.
For you, you can consider your own Bliss++. You can call it what you want. However, what you call it should mean something to you personally. And every time you think of the word, it should conjure up visions in your imagination of your ideal life.
For many people who achieve great things, goal setting is behind what got them from a to b. From mediocrity to success, however, they choose to define it. I can wholeheartedly agree that goal setting is essential to be able to live an extraordinary life. Ask 100 people about where they are going, if they have a vision, if they have a worthy ideal, and you will find only 4-7 people out of hundred can give you an answer.
Setting goals is all fun; however, it is easy to get stuck there. Goals can be empty by themselves and needs a vision. That vision begins when you go through thinking about what you really want. What would make an extraordinary life for you?
Think about it. Look back here, read this, bookmark it, and send to friends. And most important of all remember. And remember to define your extraordinary life. It is crucial, as Solomon the wisest of them all said that without a vision people perish. And with that wisdom it does not require being a Christian, catholic, protestant or any other denomination. It requires simply thinking about how you want your life to be.
You might not achieve it exactly. It may take a day, a week, a month, even a year to create the whole picture. But, while you are creating the vision, you can start taking action on those goals you have formulated from the vision. If you shoot for the Moon and miss, at least you will have landed amongst the stars. -

What is being specific with goal setting and why is it important? Success is determined by doing things in the right way. When we do those things in the wrong way, we don’t achieve. Here is something for you to try out.
* I Want Lots Of Money!
Most people hold a goal to make lots of money. We see them play the lottery, enter competitions, pray, wish, and even try some new age methods! However, often people will hold to make lots of money.
Try this. Whole heartedly wish for lots of money. You likely have been in such a situation. As goal setters, often we will have a financial goal. It is one of the most popular goals that people set.
Now what tends to happen is that we want lots of money. A few days later or even that same day, you may have found some change on the floor, a coin, perhaps a dollar. Now, we feel that our prayers weren’t answered.
This may seem trivial; however, it is an important principle to realize. Half of the world population earns less than $2 per day! Hard to imagine, but true. One mans humble earnings is to another man riches.
We need to get specific. Goal setting is the same. Imagine going to a bank, and asking to clerk to give you lots of money! They will need specifics, and our minds work the same way.
You need to be specific. So, what is your goal? It may not be financial, it maybe something completely different, but what is it? Define it, and be specific. It is easier to speak about the money aspect, because if I say to you – $1,000,000, you know what I am talking about.
I would like to give you an extra piece to the puzzle, which many have failed with in the past, because they neglected it. And that is with focus. Your goal must always stay the same, and never jump around.
If you have been to several personal development seminars, then you likely have found that goal setting was part of the seminar. You set goals, and then went along lines that would enable you to create a vision or learn more about making it a reality.
Now, most people will have a new goal every time they go to a new seminar. And that is all good, if the goal has been achieved. For many people they have not achieved it before setting a new goal, and here is where the problem begins.
Having a system, where you write down your goals, and focus to completion, will bring much more success, over the long term. I guarantee it! -

The Importance Of Vision In Goal Setting
Filed under: Goal Setting; Tagged as: Goal Setter, Goal Setting, How To Goal Set, Setting Goals, SuccessNo CommentsVision is a topic which can often be overlooked, when setting goals. Creating a vision is one of the best steps any goal setter can take. As you read this article, you will discover more about the importance of having a vision, when setting a goal.
I think it was Solomon who said ‘where there is no vision, the people perish’. This quote is something interesting to look at, as it gives us the real process of setting goals.
You see, goal setting is great. You want a car; you set the goal, and get it. You want the house, you set the goal, and then you get it. This is all good; however, a piece of the puzzle is missing.
Getting the puzzle together is an easy process, when we add to the equation a vision. But, what is a vision? And how do you find your vision?
The only way to create a vision is to first know what you want. This is a great point, because any adult generally has tasted enough of life, to know the things you like. From here you can make that as a starting point.
Your vision doesn’t stop with the car, the house, the vacation, etc. It goes further and thinks about how your life will be. This makes your vision needing a kind of 360 degree view of what you want out of life.
From your lifestyle, to the things you own, right down to your relationships. This entire vision becomes the goal. And like a tree, which has small branches stemming from large branches, your vision will represent this tree.
Now, living that dream, we know stems from having a vision. It is the best anyone can ask for, because now, you have all your life planned out.
Now, you have direction, because you know exactly what you want. Each part has a purpose. If you have a lofty goal to own a jet, you know exactly the purpose of the jet, because it is part of your vision.
The abstract, becomes concrete details, as we can see a vision of life. Exactly how we want it to be. This can only happen with a vision, and the vision is what will drive your life and actions.
When you create such a vision, you automatically feel passionate about it. Over time, you will find that more and more parts become reality. Until one day, you find you are living that vision. And the only way to make that work is through visualization and then a system of goal setting to get your plan of action ready. -

Smart Goal Setting With The Secret A – B Factor
Filed under: Goal Setting; Tagged as: Goal Setter, Goal Setting, How To Goal Set, Setting Goals, Smart Goal SettingNo CommentsTo be able to achieve a goal, you need to set it. But, there are many ways to go. The best way to go is with smart goal setting. After all, you want your goal to become reality. In this article, I will give you the A – B factor. A factor which is important for every goal setter.
What is the single biggest necessity of every goal setter?
The single biggest necessity for every goal setter is having the achievement of their goal, behind them. That being, that you have achieved the goal, and are now living life with that goals outcome, a part of your daily life.
Whether it is financial success, health success, relationship success or in any other area, you will want to understand a principle. A principle that where you are and where you want to get to are like a line.
And when you begin to set a goal, you have to realize that there is a possibility of achievement. The more you do, the more likely for achievement, and the less you do, less likely for achievement.
The best way to goal achievement is to do more! Take action, and succeed. And now we understand a formula. You are at A, and you want to get to B – which is your outcome.
When you understand that whenever you have a desire, and it is a strong desire, you will always have ways to turn that goal into reality. All it takes is to go through the steps.
Some goals maybe 10 steps away, while others may take longer. Some goals require a journey of a million miles, but always it begins with the first step.
As long as you continue taking steps, then you are going in the right direction. In life, we have many options and roads lead in many directions. When you have a goal in mind, you can achieve by taking the steps.
Sometimes people will get too involved with the time factor. We all have done this, and set a time limit for a goal. When the time arrives, sometimes it may not appear. Most will give up believing that it is over, but the truth alludes.
If we look at the success stories we realize that they took the steps. Even though time is a factor, focusing on taking the steps makes the most sense. You know roughly how many steps your journey will be.
Time is a factor, because we only have a finite period of time to achieve something, however, if the desire in you is strong for the attainment of a goal. Then realize that it is a simple process of taking the steps. -

What is the essence of the American Dream? Is it still valid? And what has goal setting got to do with the American Dream? The American Dream stands for something, an important principle, and one which we will take a look at in this article.
The American Dream, personified by the statue of Liberty. But, what is that American Dream? It stands for freedom, but what kind of freedom, and how do we find it?
In today’s society, we find that freedom, and liberty can be words that seem foreign to us. We have relative freedom; we have a car, a home, etc. However, we can easily lose sight of just how much – even kings and queens would have valued some of what we have today.
So, is that American Dream dead? Not at all, because, even in today’s western society, we can find ourselves lacking a certain level of freedom. We have desires, and want things. We want to do, be, and have things. These in themselves are goals. And here is where goal setting and that big dream come to play.
America houses great opportunity and that opportunity has spread all around the world. Here the dream begins, because today, though the element of freedom is pretty much commonplace in the US and other countries, we still can find ourselves in a position where we are thirsty for more out of life.
Even though money is not everything, we can only do things in society with money, and possessions. To have a goal to get a good education, this goal alone is not possible without the adequate money.
Now, here is where things get interesting, because we can see that goal setting and that big American Dream go hand in hand. For hundreds of years, the US has been a place where people could go to, to find opportunity, seize them, and reach their goals.
Goal setting is an important principle, as it allows us to focus on what we want. We think about what we want, and go about achieving them. For example, the car would not be there, as it is today, if Henry Ford did not set goals, and go forward to there achievement. Likewise that education people seek, would not be possible, if the founders of that place of learning was not built.
Goals are what build societies, and as more people partake in them, we have richer societies. As people set goals, there is no need to be stuck in the dead end job, because people can go forward to reach there goals. And there is nothing like setting your own destination. -

Setting goals is a great way to achieving them! We find only a few percentage of people ever goal set. I am going to make a bold statement that everyone sets goals. However, there are many reasons why goal setting just is not working for you.
Our desires are a key to a successful outcome with our goals. However, the desires that we have can be summarized into a couple of types. These different types of desire can make or break your goal setting efforts.
Often we will chase symbols. We see that nice car, that nice house and we just want it. Perhaps it is to be better than the Jones or you just feel you got to achieve that goal you set yourself.
Achieving any goal is down to the right kind of desire. With the right kind of desire, the seeds come with the fertilizer, and the plant (your set goal) can grow. But, it needs the water. Without water the goal that you have set will never appear.
Conscious desire is that seeking symbols. It is as a child wanting something so bad, and when you finally received it, you wanted something else! This can be thought of as water that is polluted. Often these kinds of desires make goal achievement not possible. The universe, higher power, God, etc always knows your deepest needs and wants, and will only manifest those things which are necessary for your growth.
So, what is the best kind of desire to have, whether you want to achieve financial success, business success, or even a happy life? The desires which come from deep within, those kinds of goals we place on instinct. We just don’t know why we are having that desire. Kind of like the desire is when you have fallen in love with someone. You just have that feeling.
These subconscious desires are great desires to have. When you find them realize that you have gold in your hands. You have a desire which comes from a higher power, God, angels or whatever you want to label that higher power. These kind of desires always come with the necessary resources for there attainment.
When you goal set, these kind of desires can tell you whether you will achieve them or not. Now I am not saying that no conscious desire manifests, they do manifest. Though a simple look at every lottery winner and you will find that even though they attained the conscious desire, it soon vanished as fast as it came in. Often leaving the people one step behind.
You can start living your dreams when you understand the process of goal setting in the right way. Anything you truly desire can come to fruition. All it requires is taking action, as soon as you feel the impulse of that subconscious desire. -

The Dummies Guide To Goal Setting
Filed under: Goal Setting; Tagged as: Goal Set, Goal Setter, Goal Setting, Personal Development, Set GoalsNo CommentsFrom buying your dream home, to buying a private jet, right up to becoming an astronaut, goal setting makes it possible. No one has ever achieved any notable achievement before first doing some kind of goal setting method. In this article, we will take a look at the most simplest goal setting method that works, and can take you forward to your goals!
You first will need these items. Make sure you get them before continuing. It may be an idea to bookmark this, Digg this, blog this or even print it up for later use. Here are the items you will need to do goal setting:
* A pen
* Paper
* You
* Your mind and a goal
We will look at these in a kind of reverse order, as that is how it goes with goal setting, and goal achievement. You need to first have an idea, before you can write it down. Let us get started.
* Step 1 – Your Goal
To begin goal setting, you will need to do some thinking. What is a goal that you would like to achieve? What do you really want? Think about it, what is one desire you would really like to achieve? Preferably this goal is something you have never achieved before.
* Step 2 – You!
Remember that it is you who is the vehicle. A goal can not be achieved by you, without you! If you want a house, someone maybe able to build it for you, but it is through you giving your go-ahead.
Consider what you want, and what kind of things will be required for its achievement. Buying a dream home can be as simple as phoning a real estate agent or even going to visit to see property.
If your goal is a career goal, then you may have to get more education. All of these thoughts will need research. You may need to find out what kind of courses you need to embark on. You will also need to consider if you need any existing qualifications and skills before getting onto that course of education – if your goal needs some education.
* Step 3 – The Fun Begins
Now with your pen and paper, you need to write down your goal. Then you need to consider what you need to do, to get there. Often goals will have a lot of question marks, but as you go through step 4, you will achieve success, and find more answers.
* Step 4 – The Journey To Achievement
A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step! Without action goals can’t be achieved. So take action. Step 1 to 3 may have taken you 5 minutes, it may have taken a month, but step 4 is the journey, and can take long. Step into persistence, and you will succeed.
* Step 5 – The Seed Of Achievement
Step 4 is laying the seeds. Step 5 is the harvest. Your goal has been attained! Congratulations. Now it is time to look for bigger and better things to set goals on. Remember to get here requires time. And remember sooner you act, and persist, the quicker you will get here. -

Do you find you go around in circles? Do you have goals or a goal setting system? Often we can seem like life has halted, and we are going in circles. This is not the natural progression of life, and in this article, you will find advice, so you can go forward.
Whether you are a goal setter, or not, you still can find that life seems to pause. We have all had ups and downs in life. And sometimes it seems like we are rushing forward, and then it seems like things have halted. We no longer seem like we are going forward.
Stop! This is likely due to several factors. The first could be not having a clear idea of what we want. Usually when we know what we want, we can move forward, however, when we are stuck, we are stuck.
Moving forward then becomes much easier, as you know what you want. I see many people all the time, who simply can’t move forward, and it usually is down to not having a goal setting system.
A goal setting system is like a framework. It is like the foundations of a building, and when you work your system, it will become second nature. For high achievers, a goal setting system is the greatest way to keep moving forward.
If you have set goals before, and are a goal setter, then you likely have done the basics, think of a goal, write it down, and then take action. This can work on small things, but usually when we set goals; it is for bigger things, things we have never achieved before.
And here is where many fail, because they don’t have that long range goal. This makes it like a bus doing local rounds. Instead a goal setter is like a 747, and moves forward far and away, to higher and higher plateaus.
This is only possible when you have a system that works for such purposes. For many people this can take years to find out. It requires being a scientist, and keeps tinkering to make a system that is easy to use, and works.
If you have not started setting goals, I suggest you strongly think about starting. It is the only way to bring positive changes into your life. This happens, for a simple reason, and that is we either drift in life or we direct the direction of our lives, and paint our own destinies.
A goal setting system can make this happen, however, it is not just about having a system. A goal setting system is of no use, if someone doesn’t think it, dream it, and live it. -

Do you really want to achieve a great life? It begins with goal setting, so if you have been a goal setter, then congratulate yourself. You are part of a very small group; indeed, you are one of about 7 people out of every hundred people. However, simply goal setting won’t give you a great life.
Setting goals is great, however, goal setting is to become like the finest point on the end of an arrow. We need balance, and balance comes through life goal setting. Setting life goals is simply amazing; however, life goal setting is not something that many rich men sons do.
It is simply amazing when we look at the stats. We see that rich men sons, almost always end up in poverty, while the poor mans son ends up becoming a huge success. However, this is not always the case. It is amazing to see, because if you have not had the rich life you seek, then you have desire. This practical desire is not known by rich men sons. So, become excited, with your persistence you will achieve.
The difference between people who are content with there lives and those that are not, generally comes down to seeing further then there eyes can see. We can’t see tomorrow or yesterday. But, to stop your tomorrow from being like your yesterday, you need to think differently. Have another thought!
If someone is in the 9-5 grind, then the thought of starting a business or another career would start to take you in another direction. Life goals help us not only think like an arrow, but to find balance.
A successful life is a balanced life. We have 3 areas of our being that needs to be satisfied on more occasion than otherwise. That is mind, body, and spirit. To achieve the balance of these 3 requires focus on certain areas:
* Health
* Wealth
* Professional or Career
* Relationships
* Personal life
There are a number of goals you can set for each. Studying billionaires, we find that they often will become so focused that they will only focus on wealth or finance and professional, and then forget all about health or personal life.
Balance creates so much success. A billionaire is not the only kind of success. Success is that person who has created a vision, an ideal of who they want to be, do and have, and are working towards it.
Create your vision. When you do, these are your life goals. Life goal setting is pretty easy, and fun. It requires looking at your life, considering what you like and don’t like, and then creating a vision of your ideal life. -

What is one of the biggest success secrets? Learning effectively how to goal set is a process which has made almost all successes to become successful. In fact even Solomon said that without a vision people perish. In this article, we will look at one of the greatest success secrets – how to goal set.
Goal setting is an amazing topic, but before learning how to goal set, it is important to grasp what is goal setting?
If we think of life, we go through education, get into adulthood, and get a day job. Most of the time, we do things because others have influenced us to some degree, and we are doing what others want us to do. Now there is nothing wrong with that, but you may want to change that to living life on your terms.
People are like ships without rudders, and setting goals is like having a rudder. Though all people set goals, there is a distinction between what the many do, and the goal setting we are talking about here. Setting goals consciously is what is important. A person trying to wake up on time and going to work in a timely fashion is not the type of goal setting we want.
So basically goals are choosing a destination, a worthy ideal, and then taking action on that. But, how do you actually goal set? Learning how to set goals is not something that needs to get you caught up with processes. It is important to put goal setting in its proper perspective.
Goal setting is simply the process of dreaming, deciding, planning, and more importantly acting. As long as you know what you want, and keep trying enough times, while learning and adjusting along the way will eventually take you to your desired destination. I go with Edison’s example. He tried something like 10,000 times before finding how to make the light bulb! We can follow such a process and find success.
By far the simplest way in answering how to goal set, is to follow the plan of dreaming, deciding, planning and acting. It becomes more difficult on the planning stage. But, the simplest way to set a goal is to write it down, and look at it often. This will aid you in keeping focused.
So many people, and I have done it also, is that they spend too long on the planning stage. If you can fire, aim, ready, instead of ready, aim, fire, you will likely achieve your goal sooner. This does not mean planning is not important, but I feel that so many people stick with the planning stage, and over time find it more harder to act.
